Community Description:tattoo piercing body art modification Montreal
This is a community to discuss tattooing, piercing, and body art/modification in Montreal and the surrounding areas. We also don't mind discussing the Quebec scene in general, but we focus mostly on Montreal just due to the population. Please feel free to talk about body art happenings anywhere in Quebec!

As of the moment we'll be functioning as a magazine with daily posts and members able to comment on those posts. If you have an idea for an article, let us know! We can either write it or you can. Obviously, we don't have money to pay for articles, and any submissions will be edited for spelling, grammar, and style to fit with Montreal Tattoo & Body Art standards.

This community functions mostly in English, for now, but again that is just due to the population. You should feel free to comment in either French or English, and be prepared to receive responses in either language as well. Many people can read in both, but only write in one or the other, so be understanding from both the perspective of a poster and commenter. If you need help understanding, feel free to ask because someone here will know!

Please refrain from unhelpful or unconstructive criticism. Ex: "omg that ink fucking sucks!" Please explain what you do or don't like about a piece, or a particular artist's work. Please refrain from excessive swearing. This is an adult oriented community, but gratuitous swearing isn't necessary.

Pictures should be resized to no wider than 600 pixels. You can use http://www.tinypic.com to resize pics.

We expect lively debate and sharing of opinions; but please remember everyone is different and has different experiences and information. Let's all approach this with maturity and respect. The goal is to learn and grow from one another and advance the Montreal Body Art scene/community to a high level.

Any Not Safe for Work pictures should be labeled as such, and linked to rather than placed in the actual comment.
